Desk Report,
Salman Muktadir failed various exams 21 times in 9th and 10th grade.
He was a little different from childhood. He was never a top student in his studies; rather, he was the ‘naughty boy’ who had to change schools repeatedly. He studied in 12 schools. And he failed 21 times in various exams in the ninth and tenth grades! He also failed in accounting twice in two years in HSC! In his words, ‘Passing Tenetune was the greatest joy.’ I was talking about Salman Muktadir, a popular name in the virtual world.
Salman Muktadir failed various exams 21 times in 9th and 10th grade.
The year was 2012. Online content was still an ‘unrealistic’ dream for many. At that time, he made a video of himself playing the guitar with his Nokia N95 and uploaded it to YouTube. He named his YouTube channel ‘Salman the Brownfish’. The name ‘Brownfish’ also has an interesting history. A teacher in Sydney, Australia jokingly told him, ‘If you are of the brown (brown) ethnicity, then your name should be “Salman the Brownfish”.’ This is where the name of his YouTube channel came from. Salman Muktadir quickly became popular among young people due to his content of different ideas and open communication. Just as his funny videos with his mother made YouTube viewers laugh, Salman has repeatedly shown in his videos that a content creator can not only entertain, but also make viewers think and teach through content. Although Salman was initially afraid to express his opinion on any issue. He also felt frustrated about this. However, at some point, he realized that when he has a platform, it is also his responsibility to speak up. However, the path was not easy. He had to face severe criticism for speaking openly about religion, politics or social ‘morality’. He has moved forward with controversy and criticism. He never remained silent. After writing the book, there were a lot of negative comments against him. However, after reading the book, many people’s views changed.
